The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2024 Notification, inviting aspiring candidates to join the Indian Railways’ Medical Team. Through this recruitment drive, RRB aims to fill 1376 positions across multiple categories in the paramedical sector within the Indian Railways. The positions include Dietician, Nursing superintendent, Therapist, Hygienist, Pharmacist, Heath and Malaria Inspector, Technician, Field Worker, etc. 

The online application process for RRB Paramedical Vacancy 2024 will start from 17/08/2024, and ends on 16/09/2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can can submit their online application form on the RRBs website.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2024 vary according to the post. Here are the general requirements:-

1. Nursing Superintendent Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (OR) B.Sc Nursing. 
2. Cardiac Technician Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science and certificate course or Diploma in Cardiology Lab Investigations consisting of ECG, Holter and TMT.
3. Clinical Psychologist Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology / Social Psychology from a recognized University.
4. ECG Technician  10+2 / Graduation in Science having Certificate/Diploma/ Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology / Cardiology Technician / Cardiology Techniques of a reputed institution.
5. Field Worker 12th (10+2 stage) in Science with Biology or Chemistry.
6. Health and Malaria Inspector (Grade III) B.Sc. having studied Chemistry as Main / Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry while undertaking the course. Plus (a)
One year Diploma of Health / Sanitary Inspector
OR
(b) 1 year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, New Delhi.
7. Laboratory Assistant 12th (10+2 stage) in Science plus (a) Diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
OR
Certificate Course in Medical Lab. Technology at par with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
8. Perfusionist B.Sc with Diploma in Perfusion Technology.
OR
B.Sc and Three years experience in Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in Reputed Recognized Hospital.
9. Physiotherapist  Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University and (ii) Two years practical experience in Physiotherapy from the Government / Private Hospital with
atleast one hundred beds.
10. Radiographer 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography
/ X Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis Technology (2 years
course) from recognized Insitute. Science graduates with
Diploma in Radiography / X Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis
Technology (2 years course) shall be preferred.
11. Pharmacist (Entry Gate) 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy
from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist.
OR
Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized
University or equivalent and Registered as a Pharmacist.
12. Dialysis Technician B.Sc plus (a) Diploma in Hemodialysis.
OR
two years satisfactory in-house Training / Experience in Hemodialysis work in a reputed institution.
13. Optometrist B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (the
course should be of 3 to 4 years duration). The candidate should have Registration with the concerned Council / Licensing body. 
14. Laboratory Superintendent B.Sc with Bio-Chemistry / Micro Biology / Life science / B.Sc
with Chemistry and Biology as main or as optional / subsidiary
subjects or equivalent plus Diploma in Medical Lab technology
(DMLT) or equivalent.
OR
B.Sc in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from a recognized institution.
15. Dental Hygienist  Degree in Science (Biology) from a recognized university or
equivalent.
AND
Diploma / Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene from an institute recognized by Dental Council of India.
AND
Registered with Dental Council of India as Dental Hygienist.
AND
Two years experience as Dental Hygienist.
16. Dietician (Level 7)  B Sc (Science Graduate) with Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (1 year course) from a recognized institution plus 3
months internship training in a hospital.
OR
B.Sc Home Science + M.Sc Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from a recognized institution.
17. Cath Laboratory Technician  B.Sc and Diploma from a reputed Cardiac Lab in Cardiac Professional Cath Lab work or two years house training /
experience in a reputed Cardiac Cath LABORATORY.
18. Occupational Therapist 10+2 with Science and Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
19. Audiology and Speech Therapist Bachelor in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
from a recognized University and must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCl). 
20. Speech Therapist B.Sc and Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy & 2 years
experience in the related field.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2024 will be based on the following stages:

  • Medical Examination
