IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 Notification at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. As mentioned on the official website, the GATE 2025 application process will begin from 24/08/2024. The last date to submit the application form is 26/09/2024. Applicants will be able to make corrections and changes to their GATE 2024 application on 06/11/2024. 

To apply for GATE 2025, candidates must have completed a degree program in Engineering. However, a candidate who is currently in third or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or has already completed any govt approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities is eligible for GATE 2025.

Through GATE exam 2025, the qualified applicants get admission into-
(i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/ Architecture and
(ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science, in the institutions supported by the MoE and other Government agencies.  
(iii) Also, GATE scores are used by many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for their recruitment procedure.

What is GATE Exam ?

GATE full form is Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually in India for admission to postgraduate programs (M.E, M.Tech, Ph.D) in prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and IISc. It also serves as a qualifying exam for recruitment in public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Coal India Limited (CIL), Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), etc.

How to Register for GATE 2025 Exam?

GATE 2025 Registration: The online registration process for the GATE 2025 will start from 24/08/2024. Candidates can register and submit application forms through the GOAPS portal on gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

GATE 2025 Admit Card

IIT Roorkee will issue the GATE 2025 Admit Card on its website @gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE admit card 2024 will be released on 02/01/2025 for all 30 papers. Candidates who have registered successfully for the GATE 2025 Exam can download the GATE call letter by logging in with their GATE 2025 exam enrollment number and password.
