The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to access candidates for eligibility to teach in schools under the central govt, including KVS, NVS, and other schools accepting CTET scores.  

The CTET application form 2024 of the December session is released along with the official notification on 17/09/2024. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can register for the CTET exam using the link on the CTET official website- ctet.nic.in. The last date to apply online for the CTET Dec 2024 exam is 16/10/2024.

The CTET form correction 2024 window will be available from 21/10/2024 to 25/10/2024. The CBSE has revised the CTET exam date 2024. The 20th edition of the CTET exam 2024 will now be held on 15/12/2024 (Sunday) 9.30 AM to 12 Noon (Paper-II) & 2.30 PM to 5 PM (Paper-I). 

Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2024

1. For Paper 1 (Classes 1 – 5)

• Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent.

2. For Paper 2 (Classes 6 – 8)

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree. 

CTET Exam Pattern 2024

CTET 2024 Consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Each paper consists of 150 MCQs with no negative marking, and each question carries 1 mark.

How to Apply for CTET 2024 December?

Candidates can apply for CTET December 2024 online through CTET website ctet.nic.in from 17/09/2024 to 16/10/2024 (Before 11:59 PM). 

Follow the below steps to fill CTET December 2024 Online Form:

1. Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in
2. Go to the link Apply for CTET Dec 2024 and open the same.
3. Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
4. Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature.
5. Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card/ net banking.
6. Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
