Assam JMEE 2024 Notification

 ASTU will conclude the Assam JMEE 2024 registration on 05/07/2024. Candidates who have not yet registered for the Assam JMEE exam 2024 can submit the application form at astu.ac.in. The authority has released the Assam JMEE application form on 21/06/2024. 

The Assam Science and Technology University (ATSU) will conduct the JMEE 2024 exam on 21/07/2024 from 11 am to 2 pm. Assam JMEE exam centres will be present in two locations only: Guwahati and Jorhat.

Assam JMEE Counselling 2024

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam will conduct the JMEE 2024 counselling process from 16th August to 22nd August 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the Assam JMEE 2024 for admission into the MCA courses of Govt Engineering Colleges of Assam, can register and upload their documents at dte.assam.gov.in by using their Application No. of JLEE 2024 and Date of Birth. 

The details of the counselling fees, schedule for allotment of seat, submission of acceptance letter by the candidates and parent/guardian will be notified in the DTE’s website dte.assam.gov.in in due course of time. Accordingly, candidates are requested to visit the website frequently. 

What is JMEE 2024?

The Joint MCA Entrance Exam (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for admission into the 1st Semester MCA (Master of Computer Application) program in various institutions and universities within the state of Assam. 

JMEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Admission to any of the Colleges a candidate must fulfill the following conditions:-

• Age between 20 to 26 years on 1st day of July 2024.
• Bachelors degree with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidates must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
• A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).

Candidates may follow the below steps to apply for this admission process –

1. Visit ATSU official website – https://astu.ac.in/
2. Click on the JLEE/JMEE 2024 Online Application Submission.
3. Candidate has to register first by filling the Application Form.
4. Then login using Application no./Username and Password.
5. Fill out all the personal and educational/academic details.
6. Upload necessary required documents.
7. Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
8. Take a print out of the summitted application form for future reference.
